Gratitude – a feeling of thankfulness, of being glad that you have something, or someone, special in your life. This is what we’ve been teaching our students about recently, but it’s a good practice for us all to think about all that we have to be thankful for. As we reflect on this year, Peace of Mind has so much gratitude for so many:

  • Teachers, counselors, and other educators who are dedicated to bringing this work to the students they care about. At last count, Peace of Mind has been bought for use in over 30 states and 20 countries worldwide. Considering we were in just ONE school in ONE city about five years ago, this is astounding and humbling at the same time.
  • Parents and caregivers who are passionate about helping their little ones reach their full potential for kindness, compassion, and empathy towards others. We see you, hardworking moms, dads, nannies, and others, and we applaud and thank you for your efforts.
  • Schools and administrators¬†such as Elsie Whitlow Stokes Public Charter School who have bravely committed to bringing more mindfulness-based SEL into every classroom in every grade this year – you have our deepest admiration and commitment to helping this be a great experience for all involved.
  • Our dedicated board members, advisors, and other supporters who are committed to helping us continue to serve so many, and to further our cause with new ventures like our First Annual Mini-Conference on teaching neuroscience. We are so thrilled to have your wisdom guiding us as we continue to grow and evolve as an organization!
