IT’S A WRAP! These events have already happened, but we like to look back and remember…

Peace of Mind Virtual Community of Practice
Wednesday, April 29th, 2020
3:45 to 5:15 pm
Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/3571234773
We’re so grateful to have skilled circle facilitators Jelena Popovic and Dave Trachtenberg facilitating our conversation. Together we’ll:
- Share a mindfulness practice for self-care
- Share best practices about teaching mindfully online. How do we engage our students? How can we help our students self-regulate on their side of the screen? What works and what doesn’t? Why is our own mindfulness practice so important?
We would really love to have you with us! Linda and Cheryl

Politics and Prose book Launch for Sergio Sees The Good
Wednesday, February 13th, 2019
Lafayette Elementary School, Washington DC
Thank you to all who came out to celebrate the launch of Peace of Mind’s newest book in the Henry and Friends Series, Sergio Sees the Good by Linda Ryden, published by Tilbury House Publishers. As Linda read the book, students helped to illustrate a gratitude practice we can all use to balance our brains’ tendencies to focus on the negative more than the positive. The real Sergio even made an appearance! Politics and Prose booksellers were on hand with hot-off-the-presses copies of Sergio that Linda signed for many. Thank you, Peace of Mind Community!
